Competition Objectives
比赛宗旨
Abacus was listed as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2013, and events are held around the world on August 8 every year to celebrate World Abacus Day.
The purpose of Malaysia World Abacus Invitational Competition is as follows:
1. Improve children's calculation ability, attention, memory and thinking ability.
2. Exchange and compete with elite abacus students from all over the world.
3. Promote traditional culture and pass on the skills of abacus.
珠算于2013年被联合国教科文组织列入非物质文化遗产，每年8月8日在世界各地举办活动庆祝【世界珠算日】。
马来西亚国际【少儿珠算】世界邀请赛宗旨如下：
1. 提升孩子计算能力、注意力、记忆力和思维能力。
2. 与世界各地珠算精英学生交流竞技。
3. 弘扬传统文化，传承珠算的技艺。

比赛资讯
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Shenmo Cup International Competition, the Malaysia World Abacus Invitational Competition was held. The registration fees were all sponsored by Edukids Technology Sdn. Bhd.
为庆祝神墨杯国际比赛10周年，特举办 马来西亚国际【少儿珠算】世界邀请赛，本次参赛费全部由马来西亚神墨育能教育机构赞助。
Each contestant needs to answer 1 paper (90 questions). The answer time is 3 minutes.
每位参赛者需作答1份赛卷（90题），每份赛卷作答时间为3分钟。
If the total score is the same, the ranking will based on the score of paper A; if they are still the same, the score of paper B will be compared; if they are still the same, the younger contestant will rank ahead.
如果【少儿珠算比赛】分数相同，则以【心算小博士争霸赛】分数排先后。如仍同分，以A卷成绩定先后；如仍同分，再以B卷成绩排先后；如仍再同分，则以年龄小者优先。
The rules of the abacus competition stipulate that participants must use an abacus while answering, otherwise will be given a score of zero.
少儿珠算比賽规定所有参赛者必须使用算盤作答，否则以零分计算。

Top 5 （CHAMPION, 1ST RUNNER UP, 2ND RUNNER UP, 3RD RUNNER UP, 4TH RUNNER UP）
5% - Gold Award
15% – Silver Award
20% – Bronze Award
30% – Distinction
All participants will get their certificate and a medal.
